OREXA LTD is a Saudi Arabian company focused on mining and extracting natural Pozzolan. Pozzolan is a volcanic material used in various fields, such as:
Light Weight Blocks: Where it provides superior heat and sound resistance vs clay or cement blocks
Cement Additive: Where it increases the durability, strength, water resistance and longevity of the concrete.
Agriculture: Where it improves water retention, leading to an increase in water conservation amongst other important benefits
Our journey started on first of April 1995. Tthe company was inugarted by the late prince Majed Bin AbdulAziz Al Saud and under the lead of the late Captain Abdulhameed Malki we launched the first Pozzolan Products company in the region.
In 2025 the company underwent a new evolution changing not only the name, but the identity of the company itself. The name changed from Pozzolan Products Factory to “Orexa”. The name, derived from the word “Ore” showcases this change well, as we strive to increase the materials that our company focuses on. We now have shifted our vision from growing within the Pozzolan sector to focusing on the Mining sector as a total.
The raw material is extracted from the volcano through a step mining process, the material is then calcinated and sieved.
Some of the extracted & sieved material is sent to the grinding factory. There the material is grounded into a powder with an average size of 40 micron as per ASTM C618 – 19 standards.
After extracting the material, it is added to Soil or Peat-moss, with other Secret ingredients. After filling it into our 100 kg bags the item is ready to be used in agriculture.
